Ta Da Tuesday!

Sparkle & Doom DesignsI recently finished my fox scoodie! I only used 1 strand of yarn throughout, so it’s lighter and more economical.  I’ll probably start making them this way, as it’ll bring the price point down for the customer. 🙂  I have to make some more for photos for the shop.  I’m thinking grey and maybe a pink one.  I am going to make a pink & purple striped one {just like Disney’s cheshire cat!} that will probably be claimed by Rhiannon. 🙂

I’ve done the ears in a different way to make them stand up.  Pipe cleaners.  I inserted them into the ears and it helps to keep them standing up!

Sparkle & Doom DesignsI also finished re-making a broken lapis lazuli necklace for a friend.  He had gotten the necklace on a trip and it had broke quite a while ago.  He brought it to me to remake so he could enjoy the stones and memories again.

He wasn’t sure if he had lost some stones, so I didn’t want to string them on and have the necklace be to short, so I added in emerald gemstone beads every inch.  I think the green and blue look spectacular together.

Sparkle & Doom DesignsSince I had some left over lapis lazuli stones I decided to make him a second necklace.  This time I used large lozenges of rough grade labradorite.  It’s quite heavy and the stones are interesting, especially when you see a bit of the flash!

Last Ta Da of the day – my Keyhole Cowl.  I recently bought this pattern on sale from A La Sascha.  I had received this lovely yarn from my brother in law for Christmas.  I knew I wanted to make something special, but just couldn’t figure it out, and when I saw the sale and realized that the Keyhole Cowl would be perfect. 🙂

I can’t find the label of the yarn, but it is so soft and probably angora or alpaca or something like that.  I paired it with Red Heart’s Boutique Treasure in watercolours.  It’s so soft and dreamy!
