I suddenly got the urge to make my own owl wristwarmers that I saw on The Green Dragonfly’s blog. I wanted a more textured fabric so I made it ridged by crocheting into the back & front loops alternately. I used a fluffy white yarn and a varigated black/grey/white yarn and made my owl a snowy owl. Super adorable. I love them so much and got a few compliments when we went out to town today. 🙂
The owls are so cute. They’re inspired by the ones on Bunny Mummy’s blog. I also finished one of those guys yesterday. I have a few scrap balls of varigated yarn that I’ll be turning into little owls soon.
It was a good mail day for me today! Lovely sapphire, ruby, goldstone/starstone, and apatite beads. 🙂 I still haven’t played with the apatite beads I got a couple of weeks ago. I’ll have to make myself some more stone bead earrings. And speaking of earrings – the Giveaway is open. I believe you can enter everyday. Please enter! This is one way I’d like to do to say thank you for following me on this blog and Facebook. And speaking of Facebook – I now have a shop app available on my Facebook page! Please check it out!
Oh my Gosh!! These are gorgeous! As an owl lover I simply must make ones for myself!

they were very easy! You can even use double crochet to make the wrist warmer fabric to make it faster.
