I finished this small afghan today, and it looks so nice!
I shared all the details in this post, so I won’t go into it again. However I am looking forward to seeing it in the mosaic that Mikey at The Crochet Crowd is making with all the finished throws. I also hope to win of course. 🙂
I mentioned yesterday that I was going to let YOU choose what “genre” of beads I would use for my next batch of earrings-a-day. Please vote and on Sunday March 17th (St.Patrick’s Day!) I’ll close the vote. 🙂
YOUR CHOICES
Thanks!!
I love the colours you chose for the afghan. What one is it? Brand/style. I particularly like that it’s not too rapid a change in colour.

Hi Stephanie, I talked about what yarn I used in ‘Head Boops’ (a previous post). It’s all Red Heart yarn, and the slow colour change is called Collage: Tundra. I was on the website yesterday ordering more yarn, and it looks like it’s discontinued. If you wanted the same yarn you should run out to your local stores and look soon!! 🙂

I just saw a beautiful pearl necklace in a mag. It was half gold chain, then a pearl, then a sparkly bead, glass bead, sparkly bead, and then a handful of large pearl beads, then sparkly, glass, sparkly, pearl again. So pretty.

Ooooo, what magazine or brand of necklace? There are lots of beautiful mixed component/materials necklace out there. I’ve been looking for inspiration and what is ‘trendy’. 🙂
